Realizing my mistake:

I made a mistake when originally devising my plan for the Solar Shield. I believed that I would be able to create a working Raspberry Pi that could connect to my phone via Bluetooth and move a metal claw holding the Solar Shield up on the model. I realized halfway into researching this that I was for not. The biggest problem was the fact that Rasberry Pi's and most Bluetooth motherboards mainly connect to Android and Linux and do not support iPhones. Because of this, I would have to jump through many hurdles to make that work. The next problem was the actual claw. The first issue with the claw was that I could not find a thin metal hinge to use, I realized that I could probably use something else like a Lego but that led me to my next problem, moving it. I realized that I would need to learn many more things than just the Raspberry Pi and coding, I would need to learn how to make my app connect to the Raspberry Pi and how to make a Raspberry Pi more a turbine in such a way that the metal claw moves. All in all, I realized that I could keep the app design but it would be far easier to instead just stick with velcro holding the solar shield at the top of the model house for now.
