Resume Resolution

In ISM, we have recently spent a lot of time talking about ourselves, such as our elevator speeches and mock interviews. One of the most important things that we did that I found very beneficial was the finalization of our resumes. Before this class I have not completed a full resume because I always believed it would take a much longer time than I had. The irony of this thought was that when I heard we were writing resumes in a week I was very surprised. I expected a much longer due date but with the help of Mr. Green I did in fact finish my resume in time. I am very proud of the resume I wrote as well, because of some of the many great examples, Mr. Green gave us, I was able to craft a masterful resume that went to depth with all of the topics that I would have liked to highlight. This included my previous work, my volunteering, my grades, and my experience in the environmental engineering field. I spoke about how I worked in a bike shop where I learned many things about mechanical engineering and how gears work. I also mentioned some of my volunteering experiences, I could have included a lot more but it would have taken too much space so I have come to amends with not conversing all of it. Both my volunteering and jobs all connect to the environmental engineering field which makes me look very invested into the topic, which helps with possibly joining the field.
